Cowboy Poetry is as old as well...cowboys themselves! When the day was done trail weary cowboys would gather 'round the campfire and share their adventures out on the range which often grew into some pretty tall and entertaining tales. Today, these Tall Tales have evolved with the modern cowboy into what we now refer to as Cowboy Poetry. Now, there is no doubt that Ron is a first rate Western Cowboy Artist.....inspired by his experiences living the cowboy life out here in the west and so many years in Alaska. Cowboy Art is a form of Cowboy Poetry with the old tales being put on canvas. But....anywhere there is a few people gathered around, look for Ron to bring out his guitar, fiddle, or even his banjo to start entertaining the crowd-cowboy style! Once the music dies down a bit....you might talk him into sharing some of his favorite Cowboy Poetry like the "Marking Tree" and telling a few cowboy tales about life on the range. Cowboy Poetry is nearly a lost art in these modern days but like other cowboys who have lived on the range, Ron enjoys keeping the Cowboy Poetry heritage alive with his Cowboy Stories sure to make anyone smile! Ron travels the west during each summer landing at Flea Markets and Gunshows all over the West. Just listen for an old cowboy fiddle or cowboy tales being told and chances are you'll find Ron!
