"The Golden Years" Yesterday I heard a politically correct individual refer to people in my age
group as being in their "Golden Years". I considered my aches, pains and stiff joints and thought...."What a stupid idiot." Later I got to thinking about it and he was right after all. By the time we've reached this age we may have been able to accumulate a little "gold" but what happens to it? The doctors get some of our gold, the dentists get some of our gold, the pill makers and pushers (legal ones) get some of our gold, the government gets some of our gold, the home care providers gets some of our gold, and the list goes on and on. Everyone wants some of our gold. Yep............ it's our "Golden Years" alright. I stand corrected. the end. ....written by R.V. Jahns.....
